"My Hakka gf finally got the chance to check out this place earlier for lunch. We ordered thunder tea rice, counting beads, fried meat, and a bowl of noodles. Thunder rice tea: it lacks the mint and basil flavor. But for those who like a gentle flavor, this is a good choice. Tea and rice mixed together, gives a hearty meal. Noodles: came w fresh chilli tt packs a spicy punch but not much flavor, a piece of Yong tao fu with minced meat hidden at the bottom, and generous ‘mani’ veg tt we see at times in mee hoon kuay. No msg, not too heavy in taste. Fried meat and counting beads: taken on its own, seems a bit heavy in taste. Balances nicely with thunder tea and noodles. All the above, with two cups of red date and barley water. Total damage @47.20rm."

"Went on 9.30am. shop just started. A lady staff was busy preparing other stuff for the day. Was quick and friendly with our order. We ordered 3 types x 2 PCs of cai pan . Chives, leeks and turnips. All was very good and authentic. Ordered a small plate of fried abacus. Very fragrant with mushrooms and others cut into thin strip. Followed by a plate of dry mee Siam and eggs omettle cooked in ginger wine and finished off with a small cup of kopi 'c' Mee Siam was fragrant with a tint of spiciness. Overall not bad. I find the ginger wine a little bit weak, maybe I am used to the traditional yellow wine variety. The coffee was good as it's process without butter or sugar. Total damage was rm 46. Very satisfied breakfast and highly recommended."

"If you are looking for authentic Hakka Food, yes this place you should come. The restaurant outside looks very different from inside, felt very cozy and comfortable. I tried handmade noodle that day with one cup of coffee, taste good and the veggie (mani veggie) portion was generous. Price little bit high but you may taste authenticity from the food, worth for try."
